How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home?

Abigail Smith

The best way to measure your ring size is to visit your nearest jewellery shop. If that is not possible, you can use the following method:

  1. Take a length of slender wire or string.
  2. Gently encircle the chosen finger with the wire or string, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit.
  3. Identify the point where the wire or string forms a complete circle around your finger, then use a pen or marker to indicate that point.
  4. Measure the length of the "complete circle" section of the wire or string using a ruler (in millimeters) to determine the inner circumference of your finger.
  5. Then use the ring size guide below to match the inner circumference measurement with your desired ring size.
